Disable port for action - scripting

I have BFD routing enabled for monitoring a remote site, when the site is unavailable the route hit our FW and flow through VPN.  I’m looking for a way to run a script when BFD shows the link down and removes the routes for a script to disable the uplink to the fiber circuit so we can prepare for the link to come back up.  All help is appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you for letting me know. You should be able to do this by triggering a upm script based on a log message from the BFD when the session goes down. These articles don’t cover exactly what you’re doing, but they do cover similar procedures so I wanted to share in case they help:

Yes, one are 1 set of DC440 stack and the other Black Diamond 8810 (dual Core - VRRP) between the fiber circuit are DC440’s.  Thank you

Hi Ted, I’m looking in to this for you but it would help to know what equipment line you’re using. Could you tell me a bit about which products you’re using to set this up?

I can get similar result if I can get BFD routing to disable after taking action.  If anyone knows how to do this that would be great too.
