Disable port for action - scripting

I have BFD routing enabled for monitoring a remote site, when the site is unavailable the route hit our FW and flow through VPN.  I’m looking for a way to run a script when BFD shows the link down and removes the routes for a script to disable the uplink to the fiber circuit so we can prepare for the link to come back up.  All help is appreciated.

Thank you

Having trouble seeing a log message when BFD goes down.  I got it to send a trap but don’t see it in my syslogs.  Got any suggestions?

Thanks!

I was able to get a trap sent when bdf session was down.  Trying to find out how UPM can leverage that to disable the far end uplink.

No log is written when BFD routing is down too.

I’ll check these out, I originally thought UPM would work for me but the layer 2 provider link hits to metro E switches and when trouble in the middle my switches don’t see a down port.  So UPM on down port won’t work in this situation.
