I'm running an Extreme Fabric over SD-WAN PoC currently. Fabric is fine. Extreme wireless with local breakout to a user VLAN is fine. However, there are three SSIDs tunnelled back to VGVAs in our core over GRE tunnels.
I can connect to these - I get an IP and some connectivity - but they are then unusable.
I have created two Extreme CloudIQ SD-WAN applications :
VGVA in - with a client VGVA IP addresses and the GRE protocol.
VGVA out - with a server of VGVA IP addresses and the GRE protocol.
These are applied to a policy of 'Top Priority'.
I can see the GRE traffic both ways on our firewalls.
I can also see the GRE traffic in Extreme XIQ-SE analytics.
I cannot see it in Application Flows for either direction.
I can see traffic for port 3000 traffic set up similarly in the same policy.
The connectivity issue has not improved.
Why is the GRE traffic not showing in Application Flows?

solution - use fabric attach aps and fabric with either local-breakout or L2 VSNs back to core instead of VGVA tunnels - no need for the VGVA.
