I am responsible for remediating security vulnerabilities on the network devices and we have about 15 Extreme access points flagged for vulnerabilities.  The details are that I need to:

  1. Contact the vendor or consult product documentation to disable MD5 and 96-bit MAC algorithms.
  2. Contact the vendor or consult product documentation to disable CBC mode cipher encryption, and enable CTR or GCM cipher mode encryption.

The access points are model AP3935i-FCC and they are on SW version 10.31.04.0009.  This is honestly a little over my head and I’m just looking for any sort of direction to proceed.  Thank you.
