For me I setup a syslog server (Kiwi or Linux) and set the switch to pump it's logs out to that. Then I can monitor the incoming realtime from a central location.
configure syslog add 192.168.0.214:514 vr VR-Default local0
enable log target syslog 1...
Thanks for the reply, and yes I think it is big to describe like I have.
This would be how I see it configured and similar to what we have now. The "Routing" VLAN exists on the core switches, is tagged between them and has VRRP enabled.
