What version of eBits are you running? The latest version is 1.5.0. I don't have a physical Pixel 2 XL for testing but used a virtual one running both oreo and pie, both worked fine.
The integration uses the Sophos SOAP API. Looks like SMC 6 was the last version that supported it. We would need to update the integration to use their new REST API.
