I picked up a second hand AP320 and I’m seeing the device update failed message when using the Extreme Cloud IQ Connect. It’s currently on version 3.4r2. How can I update the AP to the latest firmware?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Andrew, you’ll need to update the AP to at least 6.5r3 in order to manage it in the Extreme Cloud IQ platform. If you go to extremeportal.force.com> Downloads, you should be able to find the firmware files you need.
This article covers how to update AP firmware outside of the GUI: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?n=000046527&q=Update%20firmware%20in%20CLI
Alternatively, this article covers how to update firmware via the APs Web UI in case that’s easier: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?n=000046425&q=Web%20UI
