Here is the idea:
I want TWO SSID; one for FACULTY and one for STUDENT.
However - I want the faculty SSID to push to DNS (8.8.8.8) and student SSID to push to DNS (OpenDNS).
Currently, our DNS server on our school server is set to push out OpenDNS automatically.
So am I able to force a different DNS at the AeroHive layer AND choose which DNS goes to what SSID I want?

I have submitted the feature request for you now. I did want to mention that we won't be adding new features to HiveManager Classic, only to HiveManager. HiveManager currently can't have different DNS per SSID either, so the request is still valid, I just wanted to let you know that if we do see this feature added in the future, it would be on HiveManager only.

Yes we should be able to use OpenDNS. You can set DNS settings in the Additional Options of the Network Policy for the Aerohive side of things.

OK - that would be cool if it was available!
While we are on the topic of DNS.
I saw that there is a feature to link OpenDNS with Aerohive under the Services under Administration. Are you familiar with that?

Thank you for letting me know. Unfortunately we can't set DNS per SSID, our options are per network policy, or per AP which works out to the same thing. I can submit a feature request for you to have the ability to set DNS per SSID added to a later release if you'd like?

Hi and thanks for responding - the HiveManager version is Classic.
