When i setting the power to 20dbm, it's display as below:
AP02#interface wifi1 radio power 20
Warning: Power 20 exceeds HW limit(regulatory 10, board 19), forced to 10
AP and HM 's version both are 8.1r2

Hunter,
Please also use 8.4.r4. This version has the final power adjustment.
EIRP = Tx Power + antenna gain + chain gain - cable or connector loss
We allow 2.4GHz Tx power up to17dBm max in order to keep ERIP around 20 dBm. The actual Tx may be less than 17 depending on how many chains used by the AP and clients.

Hi,
I came across this when I checked the actual Tx on the AP CLI. I'm not quite sure how the regulatory max. and EIRP can be translated to the actual strength of the transmitted signal. I use one AP250 & one AP122 on the NG Cloud platform. The same results with version 8.4r4 and 10.0r4a:
The AP250 has wifi0 set to 17dBm and wifi1 to 20dBm, regulatory domain is Netherlands (528).
When the AP250 is rebooted it displays "Regulatory limit=18dBm(1)" for the wifi1 interface. After the ACSP scan is done it changes to "Regulatory limit=10dBm(1)".
"show interface wifi0": EIRP power=19.77*dBm(10dBm + 5.00dBi + 4.77dBi)
"show interface wifi1": EIRP power=14.77*dBm(5dBm + 5.00dBi + 4.77dBi)
How is it possible that the EIRP for wifi0 is 5dBm higher?
It's basically the same with the AP122.
Best regards,
Joost Noodelijk

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what configuration steps you're looking for. Do you mean how to set the power on the AP?

please send to me configuration steps, thanks.
