Hi Team,
What are the Cloud 802.1X or Cloud PPSK ?

802.1x, also referred to as RADIUS, is the most secure version of SSID we offer. Not only do all users have unique usernames and passwords, but it also checks things like the NAS list, time on the AP, the shared secret, and certificates. This guide will walk you through how to set this up- https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Radius-SSID-in-NG
PPSK is less secure than RADIUS, but more secure than PSK. Every user has their own username and password, but they only need to enter their password when logging in. It doesn't have the extra security checks that come with RADIUS, but we do have quite a few options that come with PPSK, such as self registration, employee approval, being able to set times and/or dates for when user credentials are valid, etc. The Cloud PPSK means that the user credentials are stored on our cloud servers, which gives you more features when using PPSK. The other option is to store the user credentials locally on the AP, which does limit some of the PPSK features available. This guide will walk you through how to set up PPSK in HiveManager- https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/PPSK-SSID-in-NG
Please let me know if I can clarify anything.
