Hello, Aerohive is a controlerless system, which means that the APs need to connect to the HiveManager for configuration purposes, but otherwise they will function perfectly with or without a connection to the HiveManager. If an AP disconnects from the HiveManager, your clients will not be disconnected and won't notice any change.
