Right, so long as you set up the captive web portal to use the email as the username, the email will be recorded in the user details. This guide reviews how to set up self registration in HiveManager Classic using IDM: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Self-Registration-SSID-with-IDM

So are you saying, with self registration, we would be able to capture the email addresses? Our client wants to new guests to enter their email address and answer a few questions before getting access to the guest network. They want to harvest the addresses for marketing.

You can set up self registration, which can capture the user email address in the user details. Unfortunately if you don't want to use self registration, we don't have a way to capture email addresses. The user would technically enter in their emails with a social login CWP, but that information is not captured or recorded anywhere.
