Hi Guys, a customer is asking me how many SSIDs per policy he could create and how many policies in general could HiveManager support.
Please could you help me to answer this?!
Thanks

I apologize for not providing the answer you were probably looking for, but if you want to serve your customer well, I would advise them that the correct answer regarding is the max number of SSIDs is...as few as possible. Here is some reading to support the statement: http://www.revolutionwifi.net/revolutionwifi/2013/10/ssid-overhead-how-many-wi-fi-ssids-are.html

Now, regarding the number of policies, we have dozens...one per location. I've heard of others using one network policy per floor in a tower scenario. Some would advise a preferred method is a single, global policy, then utilizing techniques like classifier tags to define vlans, security policies, qos, etc.
Perhaps someone from Aerohive could address your question with a more specific answer.
