I'm seeing this same warning on an ap230 I'm troubleshooting. Any idea if this was resolved or if this is caused by any known issues?

It won't hurt to have it enabled for a longer period of time, it'll just fill up the buffered log a little faster but that won't hurt anything.

Will it hurt to leave it enabled for long? I can turn it on and leave it and see if cuts out. Its not all the same same client that doesn't work. One time this client work and then that one doesn't and vise versa.

Would you be able to enable auth debugs on the AP the client will originally connect to, then replicate the issue, then pull tech data and send the tech data and MAC address of the test client to me at communityhelp@aerohive.com for review?
