Never seen such a mess as Aerohive: do you? Is there any lifeline here?

HiveManager Connect and Community Care seem a smokescreen, and looking at this message board complaints even HM Select or paid support often look like an expensive window dressing.

So if you don't know any email address of an Aerohive willing employee you likely won't get any answer to any doubt.

Is there any comprehensive library of reliable documentation anywhere?

I'd gladly buy some well written books if that may matter.

Thanks in advance for any useful hint.

Regarding the TX power, I believe some APs are limited to 18 on the board, such as the 130.

As for the other two APs, currently on the APs I've seen, the UNII3 channels (149 onward) are limited to 10. You wouldn't come across this on the other channels.

Hi Marco,

HiveManager Connect is a "freemium" service as I understand it. You get a pretty competent (feature limited) and free cloud management platform and an easy way to upgrade if you need more functionality. The "community support" doesn't mean Aerohive has engineers standing by to answer your questions here with any level of service guarantee. If you need that, you'd need to purchase a support contract. I see that you posted back on May 8th for the first time. Community discussions often take a few days for a response at which point the moderator will try to get you help.

You do have the option to fill out the form here: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/connect-support and an Aerohive engineer will get back to you. If you can't access this it's possible something is wrong with how your account is set up - email "communitymanager@aerohive.com" if that's the case

Hope this helps

Hi Marco,

The community here which comprises of customers and Aerohive staff is a very useful source of information and and we'll try and help wherever possible with any questions you may have.

You can find guides and articles but searching subjects specifically on this site, or on docs.aerohive.com which has a wealth of information.

There are also training courses and more information on this can be found out here: https://www.aerohive.com/support/technical-training/

Is there anything you're after specifically and I can be more direct?
