The Aerohive Access Point ranges have for a long time had a USB slot for "future 3G/4G services". Do any Aerohive AP's support USB 3G/4G services and if so, where is the supported USB device list?

These are referenced for example in datasheets for various AP models:

https://www.aerohiveworks.com/datasheets/Aerohive_Datasheet_AP230_NEW.pdf and https://www.aerohiveworks.com/datasheets/Aerohive_Datasheet_AP330_NEW.pdf

Other vendors will publish their supported device list, eg. Watchguard : https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-US/Content/en-US/Fireware/networksetup/modem_int...

Hey David,

The USB ports have always been described as "future use". To my knowledge, some devices have support for BLE and Zigbee USB devices, but I don't believe any devices other than the XR router products support USB 3G/4G devices.
