We received a new license key for support. It was entered in the cloud based Aerohive. I need to deactivate in cloud and enter it in the VM Aerohive we run. When I try it errors with "This entitlement key has already been used by another system."

Hi Dennis. Sorry, I'm not seeing the email here, could you try sending that to me directly? Entitlement keys shouldn't need a specific user, so long as you can see the entitlement page to begin with that should be all you need. ID manager does have some separate keys though, so that may be part of the confusion. Hopefully the email will clear things up for me.

Hi Sam,

The key was entered into our local VM, however, it looks like the key had to be entered by a specific user?

Our instance of ID Manager still shows expired.

This is the body of the email received:

Thank you for sending the key over. I've switched the key back to unused, could you try adding it to your VM instance again?
