When changes take effect, if i edit the used radio profiles?

Hello everybody,

we are using the on-premises Hivemanager NG (build version 12.8.1.2-NGVAMAY18 ) and a lot of AP230, AP250 and AP1130 (HiveOS 8.3r4 Mayberry build-195604 ).

I have deifined two custom radio profiles. One for the 2,4 GHz and one for the 5 GHz access nework. I linked them to the access points via "Monitor --> Select your APs by relevant checkboxes --> <Click on edit button> --> Interface settings --> Wireless Interfaces --> WiFi0/1 --> Radio Profile".

Now it was necessary to do some changes on this already activated radio profiles. My question is now: When the changes take effect, if i edit the radio profiles?

Take the changes effect, just by clicking the "Save" button or it is necessary to do any further steps?

I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Andreas Brück

Hello BJ Stahlin,

thanks for your help. I selected all access points via the tab "Monitor" and clicked on the button "Update Devices".

Regards,

Andreas

You will need to push any changes made within HM to the APs. It is also recommended to perform complete push when able to take an outage on the AP.
