A couple months ago, I set up a new AP130 on my network with the hopes that I could take better advantage of our gigabit Internet. Ever since I set up and configured the access point though, I am lucky to get 100 Mbps. I ran tools on an iPhone 6S and a laptop computer (both with Wireless AC support) and they both have always given me a maximum data rate of 173 Mbps.
I've tried everything such as creating a Wi-Fi network to only run on 5 GHz, turned the transmission power to the top, etc. but nothing seems to work. I ran the "show int" command and it says that it is receiving a 1000 Mbps connection full duplex from my switch.
Is there anything else that anyone recommends trying? It would be much appreciated!
