I have two core switches so you mean to reboot one by one and monitor the serial connection ?

what about management port ? is there any option to connect my laptop with mgmt port if there is default mgmt IP address for same model

The best guess is, if you have two management boards, remove one. Then power - cycle it and take a look; if boot-up messages arrive on the serial. If this does not work, try out a possible second management board. If this also does not work, either the chassis got some issue or the serial cable is not pinned right.

Hello ,

Actually I need to access it through console to reset it to factory configuration (write erase) so even if there is other way like magmt port or hard reset it will be fine

please note that access though telnet or ssh is not possible currenty!

Do you have this seen on both Management console ports?

Can you doublecheck the Serial Cable as shown above

Is the MLX running, and can you access it via SSH/telnet?
Can you confirm that the serial cable is the original Brocade or compatible version?

From the enabled prompt, can you rconsole into the active management card?
#rconsole active
