I have a problem: management crash issues at Enterasys B5G124-48
The switch still works, but only the management crashes. I can connect via telnet and ssh, but on the Netsight Console its still out. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
There´s no problem about the temperature or system process.

Is this the only switch that has this problem? Are others working fine? Do they maybe have another firmware?
Answer: Yes, it´s the only equipment. Most of my equipments have this version of firmware.
If I understand it correctly, this problem only occurs sometimes and is not always the case?
Answer: The problem occurs sometimes, but data and voice still work, just the management that fails.

Well, this is even older than your switch firmware. 🙂 (current Version is NetSight 8.5)

In addition:
Use the command “show snmp counter”, does this give any hint? e.g. usmStatsWrongDigst, usmStatsUnknownEngineId?
Answer: Both are increasing from time to time
