I tried to boot off image 2 but had the same result. I then did some reading online and someone suggested to load a non existing config file by running config something, This didnt seem to help. I then decided to update the xos, So I downloaded the latest available for the switch which seems to be 12.6.5.2. Update completed successfully and cleared out all the configs. It rebooted and boot confirms its loading Starting ExtremeXOS 12.6.5b2 but still I get the same error message as above.
I am not quite sure how to run a hardware diagnostics to see if there is a hardware fault with the unit, or I am just doing something wrong

That's only true for the chassis-based EXOS switches. The BootROM images are separate for Summits.
Myself or someone else will have to dig up instructions to load the BootROM file from the BootROM prompt since you're not able to get to the normal EXOS CLI prompt. PMON files are not provided on eSupport, but rather through TAC. I can also help get that to you when I'm back in the office tomorrow morning.

Hi, you might want to consider upgrading your BootROM version to 1.0.5.7 as there was a know issue with older bootROMs where the XOS image in both partitions returned errors when booting. This issue has since been resolved in updated BootROMs, and I can see you have a version from 2008. The current version is from 2012.

Bottom PSU led is for external PSU ( i think). I doubt this is a PSU issue as it does start to boot.
