How is copy paste and logging working in V 8.3? I don't see any menus or options. Any hints?

Logging is disabled by default
Logging is controlled on the Admin page under Diagnostics->advanced->system->web terminal.

There are three controls on the diagnostics->web terminal page. There is a number field that sets the max number of logs. The default is 10,000.

A check box "Enable Logging" toggles whether or not the system will log the web terminal sessions. Web terminal session logs are created in the system log directory under web_terminal_sessions//_.

There is a button that when clicked will remove all log files.

These controls were working in previous versions also, however not with all browsers. Now it is better in 8.3.

normally, when this is a new feature, it should be documented in the manual.
But this isn't the case. You only found this feature-announcement in release-notes.
I hope this will be corrected in the next document-version.

CTRL+INSERT (for copy) and SHIFT+INSERT (for paste) is working for me from the first versions of web shell. I did not strugled to find them as they are standart on Linux console. But for windows users it should make sense to add a note somewhere on the web shell.

I found in an older topic that you can perform an insert function with shift-insert. This is all I know so far.
