Hi, my customer contacted me as renaming VLANs with EMC isn't working.
I've tried it with my EMC 7.0.4.29 and a D2 v06.03.15.0002 and see the same problem.
As I'm able to enable/disable ports on the D2 with EMC I'd say my SNMP settings are OK.
The txt file from the script log....
root@ControlCenter.labvienna.at:/usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/scripting/tmp/root$ cat 3_172_24_24_150_20160825-013501.txt
User: root
172.24.24.150 172.24.24.150 2016-08-25 at 13:35:01 CEST
*** Error at line - 881 ***
This script is only supported for Extreme switches.
root@ControlCenter.labvienna.at:/usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/scripting/tmp/root$
Is the rename function for VLAN really only supported/working for XOS ?
Where could I find the EMC restrictions - is there some document available.
Thx,
Ron

Ronald,
the current scripts are only created for EXOS devices. The D2 you need still configured via the Java client. We are working on an global solution which will allow to deploy and change the vlans in EOS and EXOS in the same ways.
