Hi Guys,
we installed Netsight Version 6.2 on Wednesday and all is fine except one thing:
We import the MiB of a Zyxel Switch (GS1920-24HP) and edit the mydevice.properties File so the question Mark is away but Netsight doesn't show the Firmware Version of the Zyxel Switch altough the MiB has this Information.
When i open the MiB tools and jump to Zyxel i can see the Firmware Version. Just Netsight won't show it. The Field is blank.
Any Ideas?

The MIBs import fine.
Using 6.4 development environment the list of Groups/OID names grows from 59,101 to 59,138.
There is 1 new duplicate group so that should not cause any issues.
// Duplicate.
products[zyxel] 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1 products[apc] 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1
We do not allow new OIDs to be queried for firmware without code change.
This would be a worth while addition in the future.
Is the firmware in the sysDescr?
Thanks

NetSight uses some predefined rules to extract the firmware revision from sysDescr and it also checks certain OIDs. Possible issues:
1) This device does not follow one of those format.
Please provide exact sysDescr value [xxxxx]
2) MIB Import could have caused a problem
Note: NetSight does not allow you to add your own OIDs for discover.
Perhaps you could provide the MIB?
