Hi
I've started to have an issue where rule are being process but then it carries on and process rules below and acts on these.
As an example I have a 802.1x user authenticated on a port then further down the rule set I have a MAC rule with more port restrictions to allow Basic PC access for updates PXE etc.
When I look in site engine it tells me its the 802.1x rule however when i look at the device it tells me that the 802.1x is inactive and the MAC authentication rule is actve.
Can anyone point me in the direction of whats goign wrong?

Hello,
Check the switch configuration for netlogin precedence settings:
Do you happen to have MAC before dot1x?
show config netlogin:

Control will always assume dot1x to be the higher precedence.
Thanks
