Hello, team,
I have several XMC installations under Windows Server 20xx. Now I have a task to change XMC's IP.
If I just change IP of WS's network interface, will XMC consider it as its new interface? Or should I configure something inside XMC inself?
Many thanks in advance,
Ilya

Hello Ilya,
If you just have one network interface then all you need to do is change the IP and then restart the XMC server services. The server should bind to the new IP.
If you have more than one network interface and would like to use one over the other you will need to do the following.
1. Edit the file: C:\ProgramData\Extreme Networks\.netsight
2. Add the IP address of the interface that you would like to use on the JBOSS_HOSTNAME = line (if not there then add it in):
Example:
JBOSS_HOSTNAME=10.58.36.220
3. Save the file and then restart the XMC server service.

What about Syslog and SNMP trap receiver on the devices.
I'm pretty sure that needs to be changed also to the new IP.
