This is what is listed as the top applications:
GRE is almost always the top, and it's all Access Point traffic to the controller (non Extreme). My question is, what options do I have for monitoring WiFi traffic?
I think there might be a way to filter out GRE traffic very early on. If so, how? The switch (and port) the controller is hooked to is on the analytics engine, so I think I (can) see the traffic that way (as the traffic goes from the switch to the router and beyond).
There is very little, if any, WiFi originating/finishing traffic that won't pass through the controller, and thus to the switch, so I don't need to worry about missing traffic.
Or is there another way that is recommended to monitor this traffic?
I hope this is clear enough.
Thanks.

I guess there are (at least) two ways to do this.
1. Go into each switch, and turn off sflow/app telemetry for the particular port(s) that the AP's are on.
2. Put the AP's on their own VLAN, and filter out that way.
Thoughts??
