Because of the issues with XIQ-SE ver 24.7.10 I saw that there is an install .bin file under the ver 24.7.11. Can I upgrade from XIQ-SE ver 24.2.15.5 using ExtremeCloudIQSiteEngine_24.7.11.22_64bit_install.bin like a regular upgrade or do I still need to do a fresh install of 24.7.11 and run the migration wizard?
Thanks,

Stefan is correct. The .bin image is only used for upgrades from 24.7.10 to 24.7.11. The migration process needs to be done for any upgrades/migrations from 24.2.x.
@Stefan_K_ - he may be referring to recent field notice regarding the improper migration/move of firmware images.

In the ExtremeCloud IQ Installation Guide page 24 Extreme describe the installation under RHEL:
"If you are installing ExtremeCloud IQ Site Engine on a Linux system that doesn't support a GUI,
you must add the cli flag (--cli) to the install command, in order to allow the ExtremeCloud IQ
Site Engine installer to prompt for any required input.
Start the installation with the following command:
./ExtremeCloudIQSiteEngine_<version>_64bit_install.bin --cli
If you are installing as a user other than root, you must use the --user command to specify the
different user. The user must already be configured on the machine before you install. For
example:
./ExtremeCloudIQSiteEngine_<version>_64bit_install.bin --cli --user
<username>"

Is there a question here?
The command line options for the .bin-based installer are available to support XIQ-SE on supported Ubuntu or RHEL platforms as noted.

I am pretty sure the bin file is only for upgrades from 247.10 to 24.7.11. check the release notes to be sure.
what issues do you mean?
