@Sam Pirok have a AP230 SN 02301411120576 for which I receive “A stake record of the device was found in the redirector.”, must a case be opened with GTAC?

Hi Michael, we have a few options here.

  1. You can open a case with GTAC, they will need to see either proof of purchase or written permission from the previous owner stating we can transfer ownership of that device over to you.
  2. If I can get written permission from the previous owner, I can also help you remove that device.

Unfortunately, with or without a case we are going to have some hoops to jump through here. I’ve emailed the original owner directly to see if we can get that permission to transfer ownership to you. If you are still in contact with the original owner and can encourage them to answer my email, that would help move things along here.

Just in general, Extreme Network’s policy on devices purchased from third party sellers can be found here: https://cloud.kapostcontent.net/pub/c0a1c0a8-70a8-45c0-9d46-263b0989f7e8/extreme-grey-market-sales-p...
