DHCP Server Unreachable after update

DHCP Server Unreachable after update

I have 3 APā€™s
2 x AP650
1 x AP630
flat L2 network
i noticed after updating to the latest version 10.1r6 my devices are failing to get IPā€™s

going into the logs i think iā€™ve narrowed it down to my 650ā€™s as the cuplrit. the logs show

DHCP Server Unreachable

dc6e36f2816a4a6cab945c642a3823f0_186bbc52-67ce-4071-bb61-ee6ab85d0993.png

notice how the cuplrits are only krisā€™s room and OWEN
itā€™s also evident by the devices themselves (my android for example showing it ā€œcouldnā€™t get IPā€

is this a known issues with the AP650ā€™s on the new firmware?

is there a fix at all?

my DHCP server is hosted by my fortigate 60E firewall. all hardwired devices negotiate IPā€™s just fine, itā€™s only an issue with my wireless.

I would recommend going to 10.0r8a instead of 10.1r6, based off the information in this article: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?n=000050608&q=10.1r6

I like to think of it as perfectionism, weā€™re always improving šŸ˜ƒ

The ā€œaā€ indicates the first change to the r8 revision of the 10.0 firmware. I believe we have a patch coming out tonight that will introduce 10.0r8b, which just adds a second round of a few small changes to the r8 revision branch.

Hi Sam,
yeah i ended up rolling back last night.

seemed to fix all of my issues.

out of curiosity, does the ā€œaā€ mean alpha in 10.0r8a?
or how does the software revision naming scheme go?
