ExtremeConnect IQ new device limit - what happens to existing devices?

We have 32 AreoHive APs in our building, purchased and installed in mid 2018. We have gone through the transition of Extreme Networks purchasing AreoHive and then migrating our devices over to ExtremeCloud IQ platform.

We do not need more than basic management. Have only one policy. Do not need reports.

We have been doing just fine with our 32 APs as is.

Now all of a sudden ExtremeCloud IQ is being limited to 10 devices only.

So far I am not able to get a clear straight answer from support.

What is going to happen? Will Extreme Networks just arbitrarily delete 22 devices from management?

I need to know what is going to happen going forward.

Maybe this will help: https://extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000113792

To add to what Jonas said, XIQ Connect will be upgraded to XIQ Pilot but with a 30 day trial period, after which if no licenses are purchased, the APs will go into unmanaged state.

Accounts with more then 10 access points will automatically be upgraded to the Pilot (paid version). And your devices will be set to unmanaged if you have no licenses. So they will keep working but you can't change anything and you have no monitoring.

Or you need to create 4 Extremecloudiq Connect accounts or you need to pay :-(.
