Getting AP340 Into ExtremecloudIQ

Getting AP340 Into ExtremecloudIQ

I have managed to get the AP into the device manger screen with the serial.  But the AP is not talking with ExtremecloudIQ.

What else do I need to do?

Thanks.

I can't seem to get most of these commands working in SSH.

Most commands come up with this similar error.
^-- unknown keyword or invalid input

I'm able to get down to Ping google.com of the guide in which I can't progress further, and just to let you know the ping is successful.

Please let me know what else I can do.

Leith,

If you run the command "show version" inside the AP, would you be so kind as to share what firmware version the AP is on? There are a few different ways to update the firmware, but it would help to know what firmware you are currently trying to move away from.

For the on boarding, would you be able to share the output of "show capwap client"?

You are welcome to message the results to me if you are not comfortable posting them here.

Leith,

That firmware will not talk to the Extreme Cloud IQ. It would need to be jumped to 6.5r10 and a TFTP server would be the best way to do this. Leo provided the commands, the file would be AP340-6.5r10.img.S

Until the firmware is updated, very little can be done to get it to talk to the Extreme Cloud IQ.

So I would need to save image tftp://ip-of-your-tftpserver:/AP340-6.5r10.img.S the only issue with this is I would need to get a copy of the firmware, which I was told can only be gotten via Extreme Cloud IQ witch is why I'm going down this rollercoaster.
