How to view AP channel on Network360 Monitor map?

As per this recent support article the place to view live AP channel info would be on the Network360 Monitor map. As far as I knew, the only place to see AP channel on the map was in the Network360 Plan map by clicking the gear and changing the "device label" to "channel/power". The article linked says that this data should not be considered "real time" and to instead look at the Network360 Monitor map. Any help finding this feature would be greatly appreciated.

The doc says "not real time" because technically it takes a few minutes for a channel change to reflect on that map. Say a DFS channel change, or if you go and set static channels on the APs then immediately go back in the map to check what is displayed.

If you check those maps midday when there aren't any channel changes (outside of DFS of course), I am willing to bet they would be accurate. You can cross reference by jumping back and forth between the Network 360 Plan map and the Manage page just to double check a few APs.

Keep an eye on it for a few days and let us know what it looks like!

Gotcha. I guess I misunderstood. From the way the article was worded, it sounded like real time channel info could be accessed on the map. What you've described is viewing channel info via Device360 which doesn't allow you to see more than one AP at a time. I still think having access to real time channel info on the map (how I though the Network360 Plan view was intended to function until I read the above linked article) would be a really nice feature for troubleshooting Co-Channel Interference quickly.

Hi There,

Yes, the workflow outlined in the KB article is correct. A screenshot will probably help out, have a look...

Once you click on an AP, select "see all" on the top bar.

This will then open the view for that particular AP, then just head to Wireless Interfaces on the left.
