Restart SR2224P switch from CLI

Hi all,

We have a Aerohive SR2224P switch that is unable to connect to ExtremeCloudIQ. We are able to connect to it with SSH. I was unable to work out a method for restarting the switch in SSH. Anyone here that can help me out?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Ruud

I found some notes on how to reset one of those switches:

  1. Press the reset button (using your favorite reset tool/paper clip) for 10 full seconds.

  2. Or from the CLI:

  • Commands:

    • erase startup-config

    • reload

There is also an article on how to troubleshoot when one of these switches won’t connect on it’s own: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000056733&q=Connecting%20fastpath%20switches

Sure thing, that should just be the command “reload”.

Hi Sam,

Thank you for the reply. This seems like a factory reset? I’m more looking for a reboot of the switch. Is there a command for that that you know of?

Thank you!

Kind regards,

Ruud
