Goodmorning,

I have revied a couple of old AP120 Accesspoint from my  employer and want to use them at my home. Is it possible to get this devices unlocked?

Hi Stephan, thanks for reaching out. I was able to reach the previous owner and confirm the transfer, so those devices should be free to use now. Please let me know if we can help with anything else!

Hi! I bought a used AP230 and I am trying to add it to the ExtremeCloud IQ  platform.

During on-boarding I have received the message: "The device appears to be in use by another VIQ".  The seller says that all of his hardware has been released from previous owner, but clearly this one hasn't.

Can you please un-link this device from the existing VIQ so I may use it?  It would be much appreciated!
I can provide a photo of the device in case it is needed for releasing purposes.

As I was writing my response to you we heard from the original owner. That device should be free for you now, please let me know if you have any further issues onboarding it.

It worked!! I was able to onboard the AP with no issues.
