Servers on NAC

Servers on NAC

Dumb Question, How did you guys handle servers when you deployed NAC?  Do you just treat them like any other device?  Did you deploy NAC in the DataCenter at all?  I was thinking of using a firewall for the datacenter internal traffic and NAC for the random servers outside the DataCenter.

If you're speaking of whether or not a Windows Server or ESXi hypervisor is authenticated using Control - while I suppose you could it wouldn't be what I would use Control for. Control would be more of an edge device authentication.

There's a few integrations for VMware and Hyper-V which will populate end-system groups based on VMs, so it's possible: https://emc.extremenetworks.com/content/oneview/docs/connect/docs/l_ov_connect_data_cloud.htm
