Two versions of XOS has been tested: 21.1.1.4 patch1-2 and 21.1.1.4 patch 1-5
The Same SFP connected on differents ports displays different errors messages. The interfaces are sometime functional sometime not functional, they are flapping.
The similar SFP modules are functioning on our Production environment without issue.

Hello!
As I understand this issue only in X620 switches.
Tring with X460G2-24t-10G.
EXOS 15.6.3.1 patch1-9; 16.1.3.6 patch1-9; 21.1.1.4 patch1-5
All this versions, and 21 version too, show correct ddmi:
X460G2-24t-10G4.3 # debug hal show optic-info port 30
Port 30
SFP or SFP+: SFP+
Signal: not present
TX Fault: no
SFP/SFP+ Vendor: OEM
SFP/SFP+ Part Number: SFP+ BIDI-20
SFP/SFP+ Serial Number: SG3P390008
SFP/SFP+ Manufacture Date: 160326
SFP/SFP+ Type: SFP/SFP+
Any ideas about why this issue only with X620 switches?
Thank you!

I've just noticed this too in my X620-16x. VELOSO SFP+ transceivers give the same type of DDMI errors and Extreme Networks branded transceivers manufactured by OPNEXT, INC., FIBERXON INC. and FINISAR CORP seem to be fine. It's like the switch is looking for an Extreme serial number in order for the DDMI to work properly.

Hello, all!
Have the same problem, but only with OpticQ transceivers for 1 fiber.
Other non-original optic show ddmi fine.
Trying X620-10x and -16x.
In X460 and X670 all work fine.
The impression like problem with EXOS 21 version.
X620-16x.6 # debug hal show optic-info port 1
Port 1
SFP or SFP+: SFP
Signal: not present
TX Fault: no
SFP/SFP+ Vendor: ?E7
SFP/SFP+ Part Number: ?F_'0
SFP/SFP+ Serial Number: SG33908
SFP/SFP+ Manufacture Date: 3
SFP/SFP+ Type: SFP/SFP+
Connector: LC
GE Compliance: UNKNOWN (0x0)
Wavelength: 1135
Is there some update for now?
Thank you!

Since these are not Extreme optics, they are not supported in EXOS switches. While they may work, our SQA team has not tested and verified that they will work. Additionally, we cannot bring any interoperability issues with third party optics to our engineering team for their analysis.
I would suggest testing with Extreme optics, to see if the same behavior is present.
