Hi guys,

I am fairly new to the Extreme networks and any opinion would be highly appreciated. The question is:

Is it possible to mirror a 10Gb port to a 1Gb port on a C5 switch?

If it is possible, what happens, when the traffic exceeds the 1Gb speed?

It should be possible to mirror a 10Gb port to a 1Gb port. You will just not be able to mirror all the packets once the output (1Gb) port is oversubscribed, and additional packets will be dropped.
