X440 Getting ports 49 and 50 to function as data port with 1Gbps SFP

I have an X440 that has reached port capacity. I still have SFP ports 49 and 50 available but when I connect to those ports the status never changes to active, no combination of port configuration negotiation or speed makes the port functional. How can I get data port functionality from these 2 ports? Is that even possible?

Its done with "disable stacking-support" but try it in a lab first with your installed firmware, its possible that the all the config its lost after rebooting.
