Problem with 59100 GTS-PWR+: Problem with 59100 GTS-PWR+ when switch reboot the Diagnostic Break Men

Problem with 59100 GTS-PWR+ when switch reboot the Diagnostic Break Menu come on and we manually have to select 1 - Launch Primary for the switch to boot.

We need to have this fixed so the switch automatically boots upon powering it up or after a power outage.

Need help, thanks

Hi, there could be several reasons for the diagnostic break. The most common is post-test failure. When you enter the diagnostics, please press C and check if there are any post-test failures. If so, this could be an RMA case.

Best regards,
Philipp

Your HPE 59100 switch stopping at the Diagnostic Break Menu instead of auto-booting usually means its default boot image is incorrect or corrupted. To fix this, **access the switch via console, check the current boot configuration with `display boot-loader`**, then **set the correct primary startup image** using `startup saved-configuration main startup-file-name flash:/<your-firmware-image-name>.bin` in system view. Don't forget to **`save force`** before rebooting to ensure the change persists.
