Hi, all!
X440-24p
X440-24p.2 # show temp
Field Replaceable Units Temp (C) Status Min Normal Max
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Switch : X440-24p 12.00 Normal -10 0-48 55
X440-24p.3 # show fan
FanTray information:
State: Operational
NumFan: 4
Fan-1: Operational at 11000 RPM
Fan-2: Operational at 11000 RPM
Fan-3: Operational at 11000 RPM
Fan-4: Operational at 11000 RPM
But full speed have to be in 30C temperature.
(I know that fan speed is controllin from other temp controller, but it's can't be so beeg difference beetween 2 controllers)
With my temperature there have to be half-spees of fans.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi Alexandr,
This information "X440-24p 5900 (half-speed) 11000 (full-speed)" is taken from the Datasheet on how exactly the fan behaves to high and low temperature levels, where in EXOS cannot determine the fan speed so in "show temp" it is getting displayed as 11000 RPM when the fan is operational regardless of full/half speed.
Here is a output from Lab switch which could clear the confusion.
# show temp

Hi Alexandr,
I would say that the output provided in the article is just for sample not meant to point temperature reading.
"EXOS cannot determine the fan speed, as the fan speed is set by a hardware fan controller. This controller only reports the fan status (either operational or failed)."

Ok.
In your article there is information:
X440-24p 5900 (half-speed) 11000 (full-speed)
When I'll take 5900RPM?
Thank you!
