Can EXOS act as 802.1x supplicant?

Hi! Can EXOS act as an 802.1X supplicant? I'm thinking about a scenario where I want an access switch to authenticate itself to the distribution switch before It’s uplink become active.

Just for your information: 200-series can act as 802.1x supplicant.

I’ve also found some info in the latest “Configuring Security for VOSS” suggesting, that supplicant function could be enabled on a port.

How about that feature request ? Has it been canceled ?

We have that functionality required by some of our customers, just because they utilized this before using other vendor’s gear.

On the other hand: does any other Extreme’s family support this (BOSS/VOSS/SLX) ?
