Great there is a whole chapter of this in the concepts guide. You can either enable the Legacy CLI on a per session or you can make it your default until you get comfortable with XOS.

Paul,

I have received the "LegacyCLI.XMOD" file, and will be attempting to load it soon. I appreciate your feedback and I will be sure to let you know how it goes, thanks!

Hello Theo,

Please is there a way you can get in touch with me? I have some questions on how you configure your vlans because I am doing the same thing for my company. Will really appreciate your help. Extreme products are new to me. My email is ruthwalk04@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Hello Theo

Yes there is a software module called legacy CLI that allows you to use L2 Cisco commands on the switch. It allows you to use batch mode where you type in all of the commands and then execute or use training mode where you type in the IOS command and then the CLI will tell you what the XOS version is.

You can download the software module via esupport.

Let me know if that helps
