configure vlan default delete ports all

Hello,

The subject of the question is the first line of VLAN configuration on a X670-48x running EXOS  16.2.5.4. I know wicked old. Anyway, this configuration has been around for ages and I'm looking to do some cleanup before I try to meld more VLANs into it. My question is if these first 4 lines are actually doing something useful or taking up space? Thank you for your consideration.

configure vlan default delete ports all
configure vr VR-Default delete ports 1:1-48,2:1-48
configure vr VR-Default add ports 1:1-48,2:1-48
configure vlan default delete ports 1:1-5,1:7,1:15,1:17-19,1:25,1:46,2:1-5,2:10,2:15,2:17-19,2:25

Hello robwmackinnon,

the lines only show which commands have been executed. They do not take up any space.

The last line doesn't make sense to me, since the first one already removes the default VLAN... unless you have added the vlan back to the ports.

You could try resetting the switch if it bothers you, but I personally wouldn't go through the trouble.

Greetings Markus
