Hi Team,
I want to configure: "enable netlogin authentication service-unavailable " to avoid lost of service in case RADIUS servers are out of service.
In ERS (and VSP I think too) you can configure:
- ping reachability
- RADIUS request dummy
But I cant find how EXOS switch test RADIUS reachability, Does anyone know it?

Hello!
From the EXOS Command Reference, page 993/994, 'configure netlogin authentication service-unavailable vlan':
https://documentation.extremenetworks.com/exos_commands_31.7/downloads/EXOS_Command_Reference_31.7.p...
Authentication service is considered to be unavailable for RADIUS in the following cases:
ā¢RADIUS server is not running (IE Switch Does Not Receive Any Reply to RADIUS Requests)
ā¢RADIUS server is not configured on the switch.
ā¢RADIUS server is configured but not enabled on the switch.
From what I understand, this is not configurable.
Hope that helps!

HI JulienC,
thank you for your answer but these are not the answers to my question, I want to know how EXOS test radius reachability.
