Hi Team,
I want to configure: "enable netlogin authentication service-unavailable " to avoid lost of service in case RADIUS servers are out of service.
In ERS (and VSP I think too) you can configure:
- ping reachability
- RADIUS request dummy
But I cant find how EXOS switch test RADIUS reachability, Does anyone know it?

Hello!
From the EXOS Command Reference, page 993/994, 'configure netlogin authentication service-unavailable vlan':
https://documentation.extremenetworks.com/exos_commands_31.7/downloads/EXOS_Command_Reference_31.7.p...
Authentication service is considered to be unavailable for RADIUS in the following cases:
•RADIUS server is not running (IE Switch Does Not Receive Any Reply to RADIUS Requests)
•RADIUS server is not configured on the switch.
•RADIUS server is configured but not enabled on the switch.
From what I understand, this is not configurable.
Hope that helps!

HI JulienC,
thank you for your answer but these are not the answers to my question, I want to know how EXOS test radius reachability.
