Hi Paul,
As expected, the X250 is not able to pull serial numbers from the connected External PSU. While looking for a cable, I asked one of our hardware engineers who happened to have the wiring diagrams... there's no data link between the EPS and the switch in this connector.

Hi Paul,
I do not believe that the EPS will report serial numbers to the switch. However, I'll wait for the results of Drew's testing for a final result.
