Image upload/install error: Error: File COUGAR is not for SUMMIT_KEY.

Good day all! I'm new to Extreme so please forgive any newbie(ness) to my question.

I was given an image name of summitX-15.4.2.8.xos to install to several Summit X430-24t switches. But I'm getting an error of:

Error: File COUGAR is not for SUMMIT_KEY.

So I decided to go to the Extreme support d/l page and plugged in the serial # of one of the switches (10 new ones to update) and I get an image name with "lite" (summitlite-15.4.2.8.xos) in it. Is there an lite version of the Summit xos? I'm wondering if this error I'm getting is because the summitX-15.4.2.8 is the wrong image.

Garry,

The X430 is a L2 only switch and uses the images named SummitLite only, they are smaller versions of code without the L3 features. When you try to install the Summitx image you get the error that you outline, get the lite version and you will be good to go!
