Hello,
I have a stack consisting of (2) X460-48p switches. We have purchased (2) XGM3S-2SF modules to run 10GB SFP+ connections from each switch to add to a fiber ring. Can I install these modules without powering down the stack?
Thanks!

For reference, this is documented in the Summit Family Hardware Installation Guide.

I was afraid of that and you confirmed what I thought.
Thanks!

If it helps, you can power them off one at a time and wait for it to come online again before powering down the next switch.

Hello,
These are not hot-swappable, you will need to power down each of the devices you wish to install a VIM on.
